2024 NEWGA Ladies Tournament Results

May 20th, 2024, Stevens Point Country Club hosted our Pro-Ladies tournament. We had 26 teams (104 golfers). Butte des Morts won the tournament shooting -17! Pro Tony Searl, Saija Searles, Carla Andres, Annika Searles, there was a tie for low Pro, Luke Scharf from South Hills CC & Andy Smith from Pine Hills shot 70. NEWGA clubs represented 15.

August 12th, 2024, Wausau Country Club hosted the Solheim Cup. We had 36 teams (72 golfers) Overall Low Net winners – Teresa Cleary & Cherie Latham. Overall low gross winners – Brooke Ewert & Stephanie Daniels. Clubs represented 14.

August 26th, 2024, Old Hickory in Beaver Dam hosted our Senior tournament. We had 44 players. Overall Low Gross – Liz Ferger. Overall Low Net – Deb Friederichs. Our first-place best ball winners were Gayle Luehr, Sharol Isakson-Schoneman, Rochelle Priesgen, Barb Karls. NEWGA clubs represented 12.

September 9 & 10, 2024, West Bend Country Club hosted our Best Ball tournament. We had 25 teams (50 players) Overall Low Net – Sue Schellinger & Rochelle Priesgen shooting -11. Overall Low Gross – Lisa Wilson & Janet Schedler shooting +11. Clubs represented 10.

Thank you to all the Pro’s, Rep’s and clubs who hosted. We had a great tournament season. I appreciate everyone who worked so hard to make it all a success and to all the NEWGA members who played!

2023 NEWGA Ladies Tournament Results

May 19th, 2023, West Bend Country Club hosted our Pro-Ladies tournament. We had 27 teams (108 golfers). West Bend won the tournament shooting -15! Pro Jim Kelly, Sarah Olds, Laurie McLean & Maureen Herrmann. There was a tie for low Pro, Luke Scharf from South Hills CC & Scott Lemire from Ridgeway shot 71. NEWGA clubs represented 15.

September 28th, 2023, Bullseye Country Club hosted our Senior tournament. We had 37 players. Overall Low Gross – Jackie Meils shooting 76. Overall Low Net – Karen Scarseth shooting 70. Our first-place best ball winners were Cheri Peot, Karen Kienert, Kay Springstroh & Sharol Isakson-Schoneman (-18). NEWGA clubs represented 8.

September 6th, 2023, South Hills Country Club hosted the rescheduled Solheim Cup. Fond du lac had almost 4 inches of rain on the date we originally had scheduled (August 14th). We had 25 teams (50 golfers) Overall Low Net winners – Sara Krolicki & Patti Todd. Overall low gross winners – Kitsy Baumgartner & Kaye Damery. Clubs represented 10. 

September 11 & 12, 2023, Lake Arrowhead Country Club hosted our Best Ball tournament. We had 28 teams (56 players) Overall Low Net – Barb Hernesman & Rita Michels shooting 129. Overall Low Gross – Sarah Olds & Laurie McLean shooting 160. Clubs represented 11.

Thank you to all the Pro’s, Rep’s and clubs who hosted. We had an amazing tournament season. I appreciate everyone who worked so hard to make them a success and to all the NEWGA members who played!
