NEWGA Reciprocity Policy

If a NEWGA club hosts any one of these events and the course is closed to members, other NEWGA courses should open up their courses for the members of the host club:Mr. and Mrs., Senior two-day, NEWGA Open, NEWGA Amateur, NEWGA Best Ball, Ladies Amateur Eclectic, & Ladies Best Ball.

The following considerations have been adopted by the NEWGA Board of Directors:

 1. Arrangements for reciprocity MUST be made through the golf shop of each club.

2. Green fees will be waived.

3. Carts may be required for which a charge may be applied.                      .

4. The host club may limit play to eighteen holes.

5.  If a club is hosting an event of its own on the day of a NEWGA event- it is not expected to provide  tee times under this agreement.

In any event, a club may limit the number of tee times to three perday.

6. These reciprocity privileges are strictly limited to members of NEWGA clubs (NO GUESTS)

In addition, NEWGA clubs are encouraged to permit members of other NEWGA clubs playing privileges at their club when tee times are available.  Each NEWGA club determines its own policy regarding this kind of reciprocity and it may refuse playing privileges entirely if the club members so desire.  Arrangements must be made through the golf shops of the two clubs involved; members are not permitted to do so.  Each host club determines what shall be charged for playing privileges, carts may be required, non-NEWGA club guests  may be permitted at the host club's discretion, and method of payment shall be determined by host club policy.
